Why I chose to become an Integrative Whole Health and Geriatric Care Educator
America is in a Care crisis, we as a nation are dealing with increasing rates of obesity and people are now commonly dealing with 3 or more chronic illnesses. Life style choices are contributing to these disturbing and unhealthy trends. We as a nation need to see a change in these trends and a movement back to best health.
From a professional stand point, after retiring from over 30 years of clinical medicine, I wanted and needed to still contribute to Health Care in our nation. Shifting my work from the traditional clinical disease diagnosis and treatment paradigm to a perspective of Whole Health and Wellness, I chose Integrative Whole Health Education.
Carrying forward my Geriatric knowledge, Geriatric Care education fits a growing need for care givers, baby boomers and their elders.
